In Numeracy, the year one children have been learning how to create charts, for example pictograms. We have collected information about favourite fruits and favourite colours. Then we have presented the information, and developed an understanding of why people use charts.
The Reception children have been investigating the weight of objects. They have been using mathematical vocabulary to explain their findings to identify the heaviest and lightest objects.
In literacy, we have been exploring poetry. We have looked at nursery rhymes, and skipping rhymes.
The children enjoyed performing their sharing assembly, and we all hoped you enjoyed watching it.
