Our topic for this term is fire. In history, we will be finding out about The Great Fire of London. We have started the topic by looking at information books. The children learnt how to use a contents page to find out information, as well as finding out about other features of non-fiction books. In numeracy, we have been solving number problems. We have looked at money problems. In geography, we have been reading an interactive story about the travelling Barnaby bear. The children found out about Australia. In history, we looked at the types of clothes that people would have worn in 1666. In science, we started to investigate forces. The children explored how they can change the shape of malleable substances. In RE the children shared how they celebrated Easter.
