This week, we have been continuing with our exploration into ‘The Great Fire of London’. The children have enjoyed creating scenes from history. We have been thinking about how people would have felt when they saw the fire. The children have started to create information books about the event. We have been developing problem solving skills in relation to addition and subtraction; and have been developing the children’s knowledge of number bonds. We carried an exciting investigation about the forces of push and pull. The children explored how they could move cars; and they found out how cars move on smooth and rough surfaces. We have also been developing our travel agents role play area; and been sharing our experiences of places we have visited.
